On the house you go to the diary and the last tab you can save the game, try to do it more than once sometimes it doesn't save

After unlocking it, beside bonding the is the option to "nurse" your tentacles, but only those that are injured, each action heals them 10 points

it is one of the abilities you unlock, it is unlocked by having a injured tentacle

i dont know when was the last time you downloaded but the last update was almost 3 months ago
